We've written about crazy dating websites before, but there's always something new and exciting in the world of online dating and this week's big news is the "#1 travel dating site" (and perhaps the only), Miss Travel.
What is Miss Travel? Well, the site's tagline explains it all: Who needs money, beautiful people travel free!
This is how it works: women who want to travel but lack the funds or the companionship fill out a traditional dating profile, and list the places they'd most like to travel to. Generous men who are also looking for travel buddies browse through the profiles, select a woman, and the two love birds plan a trip and fly off into the sunset together.
Jezebel wrote about Miss Travel, and really summed up the site's raison d'etre pretty well, calling the site
"the dating website where rich people take pretty people on fancy vacations."

Ready to sign up? Here's what to do. Women (only attractive women, as the site makes very clear) sign up by clicking on the "All attractive members" button. That will bring you to pages and pages of other attractive women who are looking for a free trip and/or a travel companion. You can browse through these women's profiles and photos to see your competition, or you can just get right to it and create a profile of your own.
While you're filling out your profile, tons of verrryyy generous men are doing the same. Men can click on the "All generous members" button and are also asked to fill out a similar profile. The only catch is that the men aren't required to be attractive, so you never know what you're gonna get.
Once you've found your perfect globe-trotting Sugar Daddy, Miss Travel leaves it to you two to set up a trip.
If getting a free trip with a generous travel partner wasn't reason enough for you to go sign up right this second, Miss Travel offers another incentive for broke adventure-seekers:
"The website provides an incentive system that allows Generous members the ability to gift frequent flyer points to Attractive members (hence gifting them the gift of travel). Attractive members who accumulates enough frequent flyer points may redeem them for free airline tickets and hotel rooms, allowing them the opportunity to travel the world for free."
So really, this is like a game. The more trips you go on, the more points you earn, and eventually, you can trade in all your points for a trip (without a strange man lurking around some foreign country with you).
I'm not sure how Miss Travel ensures (or insures) the safety of their attractive members, but I can't see any first date that takes place in Southeast Asia ending well.
