qualia, Great Barrier Reef
Located on the very northern tip of Hamilton Island, qualia transports you to the exotic places that people dream of, but can’t quite point out on a map. With a beautiful seascape similar to that of the Indian Ocean and topography that could very easily fit on a postcard of Phuket, guests are never truly sure where they are, which plays up the surrealism of the place.
Sixty water-facing villas, including the Beach House (qualia’s answer to a ‘Presidential Suite’), are grouped into leeward and windward pavilions, offering either sunrise or sunset views of the island. In addition, qualia has all the amenities of a dream home, which makes this place very hard to leave.
