Learn Local Lingo With Live The Language Videos

Want a fun, artsy way of learning a few words in another language? EF Language Centers provides study abroad opportunities for high school students, but even if you're a bit too old to participate in one of their programs, you can still reap the benefits of being exposed to a new culture with EF's Live The Language videos. With fun typography and music, watching these videos over and over is a breeze.

Each of the 7 videos focus on a different city, and follow a student who is beginning their study abroad experience. During the 2-3 minute long video, the student and the viewer learn a bit of language from each city. In the London video, we watch the student have traditional British high tea and learn some of the words to describe the items on the table; in the Beijing video, we learn how to say hello, gift, and various other words that the student finds himself needing to use throughout the video.

In addition to London and Paris, there's a Live The Language video for Paris, Barcelona, Vancouver, Los Angeles, and Sydney.
