Lake Iseo
It didn't take long for the fashion elite to flock to Lake Iseo since the opening of Christo's Floating Piers installation. The lake is in the north of Italy, and has experienced an influx of well-heeled visitors with one goal: to walk on water. The glimmering, golden walkway traipses across the clear waters, creating a yellow-brick road of sorts. The sight is ethereal and only on view for 16 days. Newlywed Giovanna Battaglia was among the visitors who embarked on the trek to walk across the piers.
