Yes, No, Maybe: Artists Working at Crown Point Press
On Sunday, the National Gallery of art opens "Yes, No, Maybe: Artists Working at Crown Point Press." It will feature 125 pieces made by 25 artists at San Francisco's Crown Point Press, one of the world's most influential printmaking studios. The "Yes, No, Maybe" comes from the acceptance and rejection that comes with an artist's printmaking procedure.
From
Crown Point Press:
"When artists work in Crown Point’s studios they are assisted by master printers and the work results in original prints (sometimes called multiple originals) which are hand-printed in limited editions, and each print is signed and numbered by the artist."
