Ignore the fact that AMA is hosting a non-American artist, because the photos by young French photographer Anne-Lise Large touch on the concept of the American Dream.

The subjects may be poor, disenfranchised or wonderers, but they live in a progressive land that fails to define what this dream means to the whole, leaving each individual to make that definition for themselves...
Anne-Lise Large currently resides in DC and is a professor of philosophy and photography at the French International School.
