DC's night life just got more creative thanks to the arrival of the popular phenomenon of social painting company Paint Nite. Paint Nite is a new, creative hands-on way to enjoy the nightly bar scene: just buy a ticket to one of their sessions, and you'll be able to paint and socialize while enjoying the bar's signature cocktails and bites. It's already gone viral in cities such as New York and Miami after first launching in Boston.
Tickets for Paint Nite sessions run about $45 and are available online, and come with all the needed accessories: canvas, paintbrushes, and smocks. Drinks and food are available for order off the menu.
“D.C. has some of the most talented artists in the country and an amazing bar scene, the ideal combination for great Paint Nites,” said co-founder Dan Hermann in a press release.
So, get ready to pick up a brush and cocktail to paint and mingle in the comfortable surroundings of your neighborhood bar.
