I have attended a fair amount of events this past year; from Fashion for Paws to the seasonal soirées thrown by the men of the Capital Club, to the many trunk shows and galas in the greater metropolitan area. All have been wonderful and a stylish little feast for my fashion corresponding eyes in their own right, but none have met the sartorial magnitude of last Saturday’s Meridian Ball.
Greeted by the twinkle of miniature lanterns suspended from the entry way trees of the Meridian House, surrounded by a sea of gowns and fur, I suspected my night would be more eventful than my usual “Picks” assignments, and it undoubtedly was.
