Sweetgreen, the local salad/froyo shop chain started by Nate Ru, Jon Neman and Nic Jammet, has expanded this month to include organic juice as a part of their offerings. Right now there are six flavors available, bursting with pulpy deliciousness similar in consistency of Naked Juice than Nantucket Nectar.
According to the Web site, the juices are "cold pressed:"
"We use over two tons of pressure to extract juice from organic fruits and vegetables without heat and minimal exposure to oxygen. This process produces stellar taste and preserves several times more live vitamins, minerals and enzymes than any other juice-making method."
Right now, the juices are only sold at their Logan Circle location, at 1471 P Street NW.
