The National Museum of Women in the Arts hosted the Washington Ballet's Dracula Soiree, which kicked off October's spooky parties and celebrated the company's upcoming ballet, Dracula. The event featured a live performance by ballet dancers, food by Occasions Catering, open bar, a photobooth, a silent auction, and a live auction which included front row tickets to a Nationals playoff game, luxury goods, and more.
One thing we keep forgetting is how into the theme the Washington Ballet party-goers get. The event felt like a scene from True Blood with all of the dark clothing, capes, and fangs...and Sygyzy events really did it up with red bat lights on the ceiling and an over-the-top lit up bar. Likewise, the ballet's theme at their Prohibition Ball a year ago was taken very seriously. Loves it.
