Pretty in Pink for a Cause

DC’s Newsbabes painted Georgetown pink Monday with the 2nd annual Newsbabes for Breast Cancer Bash. Co-hosted by Susan G. Komen for the Cure founder Ambassador Nancy Brinker and DC’s First Lady Michelle Obama, over 500 people turned out at the Ritz-Carlton in Georgetown to sip on pink martinis and chomp on cotton candy.

Newsbabes Lindsay Czarniak, Angie Goff, Pamela Brown, Brianna Keilar, Alison Starling and Cynne Simpson were joined by DC United soccer players Devon McTavish and Chris Pontius, former Miss DC Kate Marie Grinold, former Miss Virginia Tara Wheeler, DC’s resident bachelor Andy Baldwin, Crooked Monkey’s Micha Weinblatt, Queen Bee Designs’ Allison Brooks and NBC’s Luke Russert. Mix 107.3’s Tommy McFly turned the mic on these anchorwomen, broadcasting live from the event.
