Starting yesterday, through Friday, the Microsoft Worldwide Partnership Conference will take place in downtown DC. Yes, WORLD WIDE partnership. If the coach buses weren't already thoroughly clogging the downtown part of the District, we can count on Microsoft to do so.
This thing looks like it's going to be pretty overwhelming. The website for the conference has more social media options on it than I can digest at once, and the live Twitter feed is not only in English:

I don't really get what the conference is about, but as Micrsoft's Mark Drapeau put it:
Microsoft is hosting its global business partner conference in DC all this week at the Washington Convention Center, the Verizon Center, the W, the Grand Hyatt, the Radisson, half the restaurants in town, and... well, you've been warned.
So, just add another hour or two to your commute and you should be fine, right?
