Other Details: Help the French and Southern-inspired bistro in Chevy Chase reach their second room kickstarter goal by celebrating Super Bowl 50 at their special watch party. 

Pigskin fans are encouraged to stop by this popular neighborhood restaurant after 4 p.m. to watch the big game on the restaurant’s two 55-inch flat-screen TVs while enjoying $5 Handsome Beer Company drafts beers, $6 wines and $8 cocktails made with One Eight Distilling products: District Made Vodka, Untitled Whiskey, Rock Creek White Whiskey,and Ivy City Gin. Wines that will be poured on this particular evening include Pikes Clare Valley Riesling, Ornella Molón Pinot Grigio, Maison Foucher "Les Jarriers" Touraine Sauvignon Blanc, Saint Cosme Côtes du Rhône, Cardal Vinho Red Tinto, Z. Alexander Brown Uncaged Pinot Noirand Le Petit Routière.

For game munching, a variety of snacks and larger bites will be available throughout the duration of the game. Snacks will be priced at $7 and includeSpiced Pecans; Deviled Eggs; Pork Cracklins'andEssie's Biscuits with honey butter and pepper jelly. Larger Bites will be priced from $9 to $24 each, and include Chicken Biscuits with pepper jelly; Mini Macon Burger with fingerling potatoes; Shrimp & Gritsand Fried Chicken. A number of sides will also be available that are priced at $8 each. Highlights include Collard Greens with bacon, garlic and white wine; Anson Mills Grits with aged cheddar and ‘Mac’ & Cheese with aged cheddar, béchamel and sourdough crumbs. Macon Bistro’sSuper Bowl watch party is free for all to attend and featured dishes are available a la carte. Food and drink specials will be available from 4 p.m. through the duration of the game.
