Inside the ceremony

According to the palace, "No hymns were sung, but a selection of music was played. The National Anthem was played but not sung," per health guidelines in regards to COVID (yelling or singing is said to spread infected droplets further than six feet). There were, however, some readings of Bible verses and poetry, including "Sonnet 116" by William Shakespeare, and "i carry your heart with me(i carry it in)" by e.e. Cummings, read by the couple's mothers.
