Inside Alex Assouline & Solange Pin's Storybook Parisian Wedding

A fairytale French wedding fit for a storybook... or perhaps - better said yet, a coffee table book.

This past week Alex Assouline married his longtime love Solange Pin, a Senior Manager at Lightbox Jewelry, in a romantic ceremony in the groom's hometown. 

The celebrations began with a delightfully moody, red-hued, music-filled welcome dinner at Parisian staple Maxim's, where guests danced the night away in their black tie ensembles. 

For the grand event, the garden of a stunning hôtel particulier set the scene for the gorgeous late afternoon affair. 

The bride drifted down the aisle donning a strapless white gown while a sea of New York society onlookers, including Charly Sturm, Andrew Warren, Peter and Lily Brant, and Samantha Cohen, snapped photos. 

Pate smeared breads, en plein air champagne, a sparkler-topped macaron cake, and dancing followed.

But perhaps the biggest vibe of the fête? 

Alex's mother, Martine, who was the sartorial life of the soirée la vie en rose style in her elegant lace set and groovy Jackie O sunglasses.
