Inside Caroline Vreeland's Intimate (But Expectedly Glam) Secret Wedding

by Stephanie Maida · January 12, 2021

Caroline Vreeland - sultry crooner, fashion It Girl, and carrier-on of her grandmother's (OG Vogue editor Diana Vreeland) glamorous legacy - is officially off the market!

The newlywed singer and socialite revealed this week that she and her Canadian beau, Nicolas Munn Rico, tied the knot this past December 7th - a year to the day of their first meeting at Art Basel (um, the dream, right?).

Following COVID regulations, the intimate affair was held with just 10 guests (including, of course, Caroline's sister Alexandra) in the chic penthouse at the Ludlow Hotel, a setting which provided their nuptials with the prime backdrop of NYC's downtown skyline. The bride wore what could only be described as a fittingly dramatic high-low gown by Giambattista Valli, which boasted a nine-foot train, while the groom, the co-founder of Mural Festival and LNDMRK Agency, opted for a cool-guy suit by The Kooples.

Afterwards, the bride slipped into a festive dress by Alessandra Rich (and matching mask!) to continue the celebrations with a pasta dinner (#carocarboload) at West Village restaurant, Alice.

As she told Vogue, "we had to head home at 10 p.m., but it was still completely magical."
