If you could expand to any medium you haven't yet attempted, what would it be?
I think I'd like to try my hand at doing some jewelry work. I think I'd approach it with making metal cut out charms with cute witchy themes and animals.
Something I'd like to delve further into would be fabrics. In my final year at The School of Visual Arts, I had an embroidery class and had a lot of fun experimenting with their digital embroidery machines. I made a lot of patches during that time. It was interesting seeing how different my artwork looked from a needlework approach.
What is your go-to boredom-doodle subject?
I always practice different head angles for some reason. In 100% of my sketchbooks, you'll just see a bunch of floating heads.
You can do a portrait sitting with anyone on the planet. Whom do you immortalize?
Probably Hayao Miyazaki. Although it would be pretty intimidating for me, and I don't think I'd be able to concentrate! There would probably have to be a translator there with us too, so he could understand all of my annoying fan questions.
