Casual Starter...Compound?!
When most of us move in with our partner, we're lucky if we manage to snag an affordable one bedroom. But for the young Wolfe/Herds, their starter home came in the form of a 19,698-square-foot, 6.5-acre, three-house compound on Lake Austin in Texas. While the sprawling estate was technically in Michael's family, he put in plenty of work to turn it into their modern oasis, boasting an entertainment cabana, 10 garages, boat docks, a wine room, tennis courts, a putting green, pool, spa... the list goes on and on. With a new baby on their hands, the pair must have somehow outgrown the place as they put it on the market last summer for a cool $28.5 million.
