The most heartwarming win of the night was the winner of the Festival Grand Prix, Xavier Dolan. The dapper 27-year old was presented the award by fellow Canadian actor, Donald Sutherland. Xavier gave an incredibly eloquent speech in French, thanking the cast of his film It’s Only the End of the World which includes Marion Cotillard. If you do not know his name by now, do not be fooled by his movie star looks and rock star tattoos - this young man has serious talent. He received his first Palm d'Or at 25, directed Adele's "Hello" at 26, and has 9 directing credits under his belt at 27.
