Shooting to Stardom
-The rising star has performed at Australia's
Splendour in the Grass festival, on the David Letterman show, and alongside fellow indie "It Girls"
HAIM at VH1's
You Oughta Know concert. She even reportedly turned down an offer from fellow hit-maker Katy Perry to join her on tour.
-Right around her 17th birthday this November, Lorde signed a
much-publicized multi-million dollar publishing deal with Songs Music Publishing. Hey, not a bad gift
at all.
-She has also made her way into the lucrative
Hunger Games franchise, covering Tears for Fears' 1985 single "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" for the
Catching Fire soundtrack. We're predicting Katniss will
love it.
