I always try to buy the close girls in my life (sister, mom, bff, etc) the things that I know they would love but would never buy for themselves. Here are some things on my list: 1. Cashmere Socks: $50 White and Warren Don't knock em until you've tried them. They are life changing. Totally worth every penny.

2. Edie Parker Personalized Clutch: $1,595.00 Edie Parker Guys, listen up. You will not go wrong if you put your girl's name (or pet name) on a sparkly Edie Parker clutch this holiday season. Bonus points will be given if you get it to her in time to wear to her holiday parties.

3. Diptyque Scent Diffuser. $350 Diptyque.com It was the night of a big party at our house and the shopgirl told me it had just won some fragrance award (at presumably THE Oscars of the fragrance world - did I mention how easily persuadable I am in the stores on Bleecker street?), and I HAD to have it. As I walked home I couldn't help but feeling totally silly to have just spent so much money on a diffuser (note: I had only learned the word this past year) - until we turned it on. It's a total game changer. It makes walking into our home put a huge smile on my face, not to mention it covers up all kinds of unwanted baby and food odors.

4. Diana Vreeland Fragrances - Prices Vary - At Neiman Marcus and at Bergdorf Goodman "Why Don't You..." take it from me and get your girls the only fragrance that comes with a nose full of inspiration from Diana Vreeland.

5. Jennifer Fisher Gold Knot Choker $495 Jennifer Fisher It looks good on absolutely anyone and will become a staple in her closet. Bonus cred points: Beyonce is sporting a gold knot choker in her latest "7/11" video.

6. Sisley Black Rose Precious Face Oil. $235 Sisley.com I'm including this with the hopes you will just buy it for yourselves because it is literally the best thing I have put on my face - ever. It's really perfect before bed, esp on the cold winter's night.

7. The ZADY sweater. $160 Zady Its focus is on style AND sustainability. I am so proud of friends Soraya and Maxine's company Zady, and can't wait to rock their first ever product, the .01 The Sweater, all-natural wool, made in the USA. 8. Donald Robertson + Kara Ross bag collection $300-3,000 Kara Ross RUN over to Kara Ross' site to get these limited edition Donald Robertson bags. The artist started as the toast of Instagram, and now has everyone's (including Jenna Lyon) attention. I am seriously crushing on these bags.

9. Well-Read Women Book by Samantha Hahn. $15.11 Amazon I have been gifting this book ever since I received it as a gift myself from my very well-read sister and it never disappoints. Samantha Hahn is a beautiful and talented painter, and her work, paired with inspirational quotes from the world's leading women, will have you swooning.
