Although we could never live without the preppy Hampton classics like J.Crew or Ralph Lauren, a new pop up boutique never fails to induce some retail-therapy excitement. Salt Box recently opened in Montauk and we have high hopes for this half art gallery, half shop.

Owners Kathleen Doran and Anthony Dooley are both professional photgraphers, and hope to feature new, emerging artists in the gallery section of their space. Some Salt Box highlights include lots of blown glass, jewelry made from recycled materials, graphic tees, inviting couches accompanied by photography books and, as you may have hoped, sea salt mix. Who doesn't love to lounge and shop? They've really seemed to hit the nail on the head by making the store/lounge/gallery combination.
