As Long Island moves into Phase 2 of re-opening, every establishment is scurrying to do their best, working to comply with the strict regulations that have been set to keep both employees and patrons safe. For those out East who are desperately tired of having absolutely nowhere to go other than the beach, Wölffer Estates is here to make your summer dreams come true, kind of!
Everyone's favorite Hamptons vineyard has just announced that they'll be opening daily starting Thursday June 11th from 11am – 7pm for wine and small bites. Considering they're one of the craziest places crowd-wise, they've obviously had to do some work on scaling down. For now, they'll only be welcoming those with reservations (accepting parties of up to 8 people) at the Tasting Room and Wine Stand, which will be weather permitted as they can only seat outdoors. Tables will be spaced, but of course, 6 feet apart, and hand sanitizing and hand washing stations will be set up throughout the space.
While wine cellar tours will be put on hold, they will be holding outdoor tours of the vineyard (which not going to lie, sounds a lot more scenic than wandering around in a basement, no?).
Guests will be required to sign a Screening Form upon arrival, and are required to wear a mask whenever they're doing anything other than sitting at their table. And speaking of moving around, all guests must be accompanied by a Wölffer employee during their visit. This escort will be required while guests are seated, leaving the premise and going to the restroom.
What a new normal! Make your reservation today!
