Where To Lunch: Special Tea House
You didn't think we would send you to the deli, did you? (Although, to be fair, the deli on the way to the train station and Jitney stop is lit in the morning.) Truly a one-stop shop we can get behind, Special Effects also boasts an idyllic tea room and al fresco dining area. Their Special Tea House is set to open to walk-ins this summer, and we can attest that it's a high tea experience even the Queen of England would envy.
A sunny day calls for a sweet feast in the garden, where a full three-tiered service awaits (for just 30 bucks!). Scones, jams, those adorable finger sandwiches - it all adds up to a deliciously indulgent afternoon. Even the tea tastes like summer, although it's the rhubarb crumble that will get you sweatin'.
