There is no need to mourn this failed relationship. Alliances were meant to be broken, just like promises and no one likes a lingerer. Everyone needs to pick themselves up and stop feeling sorry for the EU. You know what, shit happens. We all die alone and succeed alone, so why are we relying on partnerships to get us through the day? UK, you are free to leave if you want. Peace out! We don't want some half ass decision to stay. You want members of the EU to want to be in it for the long haul. So get it together! There are more fish in the sea!
