The Speeding Scandal
Like we said, the British press seems to get scandalized over the smallest things, but, considering the fact that Lady Eliza hardly appears to be slumming it, her little speeding ticket situation has earned her some major criticism.
The incident occurred when she was caught driving her Audi 47 mph in a (gasp!) 40 mph zone in West London. Though titled aristocrats have done way worse, the understandable upset came when she claimed to the court that she couldn't afford the £100 fine. We mean, come on, even we're rolling our eyes.
Still, you kind of have to admire the shamelessness of it. Poor little rich girl!
