A Roman Holiday Wedding
Financier Joseph Getty (of yes, those Gettys) met Sabine at a New York dinner party in 2011. Right from the start, he saw a future with her. The two tied the knot in 2015, hosting an over-the-top wedding in a Roman castle that dates back to the 15th century. Guests included Lady Getty, Princess Elisabeth von Thurn und Taxis, Bianca Brandolini d’Adda and more. Her iconic Schiaparelli couture gown and a hooded cape featured a 23-foot train and more than 500,000 sequins. And to top that off? Her wedding weekend featured a lavish Liaisons Dangereuses-themed party.
