If you think Ladurée is the fanciest place to indulge, wait until you feast your eyes on Marchesi 1824. The historic pastry shop, which opened in Milan in - you guessed it! - 1824, is now owned by Prada Group, with three locations in Italy and a just-debuted new outpost in London.
The Mayfair destination, which is sure to become a luxurious go-to for a spot of tea and some certifiably designer desserts, boasts plush velvet banquettes, vases of pink peonies, and floor-to-ceiling antique tiles. Not to mention drool-worthy displays of lavish cakes and pastries. Who would have guessed fashion and sweets went together so well?
