Chiltern Firehouse

Chiltern Firehouse is a name that is synonymous with celebrities. This Andre Balazs boutique hotel single-handedly revived Chiltern Street in Marylebone, making the otherwise relatively quiet and upscale shopping and residential area a paparazzi frenzy. However, there is substance to the style that Andre Balazs has brought to this former fire station. The restaurant is ranked #1 in London’s Time Out magazine, delighting visitors with fresh and healthy food which one might find in Hollywood’s version of a pub. Case in point? Spice tuna deviled eggs and shiitake mushroom tartine with girolles and swiss chard. Apart from a restaurant that is always full, their intimate outdoor space is London’s version of the Chateau Marmont courtyard - great for drinks and people watching from afternoon into the night. It’s not easy to get a reservation here, but it is definitely worth trying. Chiltern Firehouse, 1 Chiltern St, Marylebone, London Chiltern Firehouse [Photo by Kristina Tanso]
