Located in Piccadilly Circus, The Club at Hotel Cafe Royal is truly one of those insider places where you have to be in-the-know to get access. Built in mind to revive the art scene of the glamorous days past, The Club features a “Studio” where intimate talks and “secret” gigs take place, a “Gallery” area where artists can indulge in comfort and healthy food during a creative interlude, and the Library Bar, an intimate space where like-minded individuals are encouraged to mingle whilst enjoying artisan cocktails…or simple brew. The highlight of The Club, however, is the Oscar Wilde bar, famed for being a favorite of the well-known writer back in the day. Today it is an A-list hub, with Kanye West once popping in with his crew, taking on the role of DJ in an impromptu spin session, and treating members to unfinished tracks from his new album. Other celebs that spend time in this low-key, discreet, but exceptionally fun place include Tom Hardy and Lulu Guinness, who treated members to an intimate ‘fireplace’ chat.
