There must be something about this premature summer heat that's got L.A. all hot and bothered because we saw a new, heightened passion in Angelenos frolicking in the night this weekend. It had us wondering if you noticed it too. And we just want to know, in the words of Sir Elton John, can YOU feel the love tonight? Join us as we interpret the swelling passion we saw at the No Shirt/No Shoes party at Bardot Friday night through Disney's animated musical The Lion King.

As a followup to dubFrequency's inaugural weekly No Shirt/No Shoes summer party last Saturday, they took things from the pool to the dance floor where the warm summer air ignited something inside the crowd. Like the fervor of the animal kingdom, these midnight revelers were fully in the moment and partied like they meant it with unwavering conviction. Whether it was their love for the beat, the DJ, her boyfriend, or his buzz, this crowd was not shy about showing their feelings. They were definitely feeling the love that night.

    Take it away, Elton.

"Can You Feel The Love Tonight"

There's a calm surrender to the rush of day When the heat of a rolling wind can be turned away An enchanted moment, and it sees me through

It's enough for this restless warrior just to be with you

And can you feel the love tonight It is where we are

It's enough for this wide-eyed wanderer That we got this far

And can you feel the love tonight How it's laid to rest It's enough to make kings and vagabonds Believe the very best

There's a time for everyone if they only learn That the twisting kaleidoscope moves us all in turn

There's a rhyme and reason to the wild outdoors When the heart of this star-crossed voyager beats in time with yours
