Nominees

Will Win: This is a classic battle between red states and blue states. History achieved record ratings for "Hatfields," its three-part miniseries about the Biggie vs. Tupac feud of the late 1800s, but I'm thinking the Academy was more impressed with "Game Change," featuring Julianne Moore's uncanny portrayal of Gov. Sarah Palin. Also, it feels like "American Horror Story" is cheating when it lists itself as a miniseries (like a kid who lies about his age so he can pitch against younger opponents in Little League).

Should Win: It has almost no chance at victory, but "Luther" is one of the coolest things on TV. It's tremendous, you should seek it out.
