This hot spot is known for its Spanish and Asian fusion that blends their modern setting at the Delano Hotel with their open flame cooking. The entire restaurant is exquisite, but make sure you ask to sit in the backyard because the seats wrap around the pool. This is a very upscale restaurant, but we can already see people jumping in the pool during Art Basel after too many drinks. Sometimes they have aerial silks dancers performing while you munch on octopus and NY Strip with Ceviche.
Chef Jose Icardi prepares a great brunch as well, a must try is the eggs benedict on an empanada or the red velvet waffles. Another favorite is the sushi pizza which locals say is the best they've ever had. If you're looking to impress your date or just people watch during the craziest week in Miami, Leynia is the place to be. Make sure you reserve a table ahead of time - this is one of those "line out the door" places. And trust us, everyone will be there.
