From New York to Miami to Boca Raton - Major Food Group's swanky culinary takeover continues with the restaurant group's newest hot spot, Japanese Bocce Club.
Joining the group's exclusive lineup of dining destinations opened in partnership with the historic members' club and resort, The Boca Raton, Japanese Bocce Club serves up modern Japanese cuisine in a sleek, contemporary space designed by Rockwell Group. Think: blonde woods, nautical blues, paper lanterns galore. It's a creative complement to the property's adjacent Bocce courts, where an al fresco patio invites guests to snack, sip, and play beneath twinkling lights and a canopy of royal palm trees.
Major Food Group's managing partner Mario Carbone was on hand to christen the new spot alongside Daniel Hostettler, president and CEO of The Boca Raton, during a vibrant VIP opening bash last month, which saw well-heeled guests from across the country celebrating with an endless supply of hand-rolled sushi, steamed dumplings, and Japanese-inspired signature cocktails featuring flavors like yuzu, Japanese plum, and red shiso.
Sushi-lovers are in for a treat with world-class offerings of fresh fish, served as sashimi, nigiri, over crispy rice, and in rolls (which can be topped with caviar, naturally). In addition, the menu features seafood dishes like rock shrimp, sizzling skewers, teriyaki plates, and an upscale selection of Wagyu beef, including a totally splurge-worthy Japanese 'Kagoshima A5' filet.
The see-and-be-seen spot should be a must on your Boca Raton list - if you're lucky enough to snag a res.
