Soyka

You've probably heard of Soyka, the New American Eatery located in a converted railroad station. The decor is impeccable, the space is huge and they offer dreamy outdoor seating in their side garden. Mark Soyka, the restaurant's owner, is the same guy behind Miami's News Cafe. This is the ideal place for large company gatherings or birthdays. They can easily sit dozens of people with no hassle, and the staff will always be on top of it. They have an equally amazing brunch menu, but for the sake of this article let's discuss dinner.

We've tried a LOT of tuna tartare in the city, but Soyka's is more fun. Served with Wakame salad, avocado, sesame ginger soy, wasabi creams, sriracha, and wonton crisps, it was well balanced and nutritious. The porcini mushroom and ricotta ravioli is also on the top of our list, as is the chicken schnitzel with chopped cucumber/tomato salad and mashed potatoes. Comfort food in an industrial yet posh environment is how we would describe Soyka, as there's nothing like it in Miami.
