5Pointz in Long Island City is considered the Mecca for graffiti and street art in the area. It's located across the street from MoMA PS1 and is overseen by street artist Meres One (Jonathan Cohen). Meres One studied art at the Fashion Institute of Technology and his work can be seen throughout the five boroughs and the East Coast.
