Legendary photographer David LaChapelle takes his hyperreal abilities to the less glamorous locations of gas stations and oil refineries in his new series at Paul Kasmin Gallery.
LAND SCAPE explores the "industrial infrastructure" of the global fuel trade, and though that's quite a departure from his vivid, celebrity-filled fashion photos, LaChapelle nevertheless achieves a sense of stunning surrealism in every work.
