Reza Aramesh Exhibition
Through sculptural pieces, large-scale photographic collages and one neon work, Aramesh explores mass media imagery, particularly of recent wars and armed conflicts. The artist superimposes found imagery on silhouettes of crouching prisoners blown up to an over life-size scale. The fragility of the porcelain used in his sculptures is both beautiful and an interesting comment on the wealth associated with war.
