Peekskill Project V
Over 100 artists will invade the city of Peekskill, NY this weekend, in order to “activate the urban environment and its inhabitants” through site-specific installations, exhibitions, and performances.
Organized by the Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Art, the Peekskill Project aims to liberate art from the museum space, and infuse its creativity into a community setting. (
To Wong Foo had a similar premise.) After opening weekend, the project will continue throughout the year with a series of monthly events.
Opening Weekend: September 29 – 30
Location: Peekskill, NY. Locations vary.
