Bruce Silverstein Gallery: Marjan Teeuwen, ‘Destroyed House’
Don't miss Destroyed House, the first gallery exhibition outside of Europe by the Dutch contemporary artist, Marjan Teeuwen. In her body of work Destroyed House, Teeuwen reclaims the wreckage of abandoned buildings assembling each fragment in detailed installations, set within the original structure. The temporary living artworks are present for the community to experience but they ultimately exist only through carefully composed photographic images. Trippy to say the least.
