The Standard, High Line: 'Double Double'
If you prefer a cocktail during your art-viewing experience, stop by The Standard, High Line for a first look at their special installation, Double Double. A collaboration with creative production team, EverybodyNeedsUs, the piece can be found in the hotel's Living Room lounge. The massive, multi-faceted mirror and light piece plays with self-perception and provides a commentary on the pressure of societal beauty standards in the age of selfies and digital screens. Of course, there's even a cheeky hashtag that goes along with it: #drinkyourselfpretty.
