It takes a lot to shock a New Yorker. We see crazy shit on the daily from the side of the street to the subway to boozy brunches. We pride ourselves on not caring. Nothing is too weird. Not even a sex slave and his leather clad dominatrix enjoying some leisurely relaxation and boot licking on a bench in McCarren Park.- You can't smoke on a park bench but you can do this, apparently.
The Village Voice found this video on the People and Pets section of YouTube. It pretty much says it all. New Yorkers have won out against bizarre. If this didn't work then nothing can make us go, WTF...with the weird exception, as proven in this case, surprise at the lack of surprise.
