Now that foie gras, a similarly controversial dish that involves force-feeding a bird, has been officially banned in NYC, you can expect it to become even more of a luxury. While I don't get the appeal of scarfing down fatty goose liver, a culinary black market for the blue bloods who do will surely emerge.
