Users are also less than impressed with Daily Harvest's response on social media, where they're adding insult to literal injury by vaguely announcing the recall alongside "aesthetic" Instagram shots of the products, simply updating the caption on promotional photos to read, "An important message regarding our French Lentil + Leek Crumbles. Link in bio with details."
One commenter wrote, "This is a really awful way to handle an extreme health risk caused by your foods — 'link in bio for details' is not the way to do this. You should have the actual information in the caption and pin the post, in IG stories, make a graphic to post that says 'emergency recall notice' or something to that effect."
