As a bizarrely particular human being, I've never enjoyed the freedom of ordering groceries online. You see, touching every grapefruit at Whole Foods to see which one I reckon is the best, based off zero real knowledge of produce, is an irrationally large part of who I am.
But even I'm super tempted to take my weekly grocery trip digital after perusing Juice Press's new online Grocery Shop. With guaranteed next day delivery, 7 days a week, the organic market isn't just one of the most convenient ways to stock your fridge and pantry, it's one of the most affordable.
Right now, they're selling a package of organic blueberries for just 99 cents! And same thing with avocados - one for 99 cents! If you're one of those people who never pays attention to how much anything costs, first of all, who do you think you are? and second of all, trust me that is craziness!
Besides a killer selection of fruits and vegetables, the market has everything from their Everything Bagel Hummus and Kale Chips to freshly made soups, energy bars and healthy pastas. And for those addicted to their smoothies (my personal favorite is the $&”@ing Genius), they've put together Make Your Own kits so you can easily blend up your own at home.
Like, I'm not trying to peer pressure you or anything, but if everything I've just said isn't enough to have you currently on their site scrolling through and adding things to your shopping bag, just remember this: they sell toilet paper and quinoa. If there's anything that sticking it out in the city during this pandemic has taught me, it's that those two things are the make-it-or-break-it biggest life essentials for New Yorkers. Seriously, I still can't find quinoa at Whole Foods!
