'Tis the season for salt air, waterfront views, and, obviously, lobster rolls on lobster rolls. And no place in the city combines all three better than the North River Lobster Company.
New York's favorite floating lobster shack has reopened for spring, and with it comes the return of its beloved shellfish sandwiches, along with some seriously over-the-top new offerings.
Joining the delicious ranks of the eatery's Beer-Battered Oyster Po-Boy, Connecticut Roll, and already Insta-famous O.G. Shelly Roll is the totally epic Double Truffle Shelly, an upgraded take on the 28-inch lobster roll smothered in truffle-mayo and served with a side of truffle parmesan fries. Also new to the menu this year is the irresistibly indulgent Bucket List Roll. Dubbed the "most luxurious" lobster roll in town, the surf and turf inspired bite boasts seared A5 Wagyu, lobster meat poached in the Wagyu fat, a drizzle of yuzu, and a healthy dollop of Osetra Caviar. You definitely won't find that in any old seafood shack.
With a full selection of signature cocktails, beer, and wine, along with a sprawling three-story yacht deck offering fabulous views from the Hudson, this seafaring seafood spot is the ultimate warm-weather go-to.
Time to get your (lobster) roll on, people!
