OK, we're all wayyyy too aware that Valentine's Day is upon us. Your email is probably inundated with discounts from lingerie sites you've ordered from once and lovers' staycation specials from hotels you've had one-night stands at. It's almost so annoying that it makes you want to finally hit the unsubscribe button for the first time in your life.

But you know what? Valentine's Day occurring during the most miserable month of the year and in the city where everyone is single kind of makes zero sense. What's a good solution, then? National Singles Awareness Day! And yes, it's an actual holiday. Turns out it's the day after V-Day, February 15th. We know, we know, there's already Galentine's Day the day before Valentine's Day. However, I don't know about you, but I refuse to celebrate a holiday that's created by a knock off version of The Office (full offense, Parks and Recreation).

While we singles can't technically use it as an excuse to call out of work and sleep in with our weighted blankets, the next best option is buying your single bestie (or, more importantly, yourself) some gifts.
