What's On Hannah Stella's Holiday Wish List?

The effortlessly stylish, hilariously witty Hannah Stella is basically TikTok's go-to arbiter of all things chic and social. Needless to say, she can always be counted on for her good taste.

How do you celebrate the holidays?
I love traveling around the holidays, parties, fun dinners, it’s the best time to catch up with friends.

Where will you be this season?
We were in Piedmont for Thanksgiving and will be back in New York for Christmas, which is my favorite time in New York, and then to Sun Valley with some friends and family for New Years.

Are you a last-minute or way-in-advance shopper?
If you leave everything to the last minute it only takes a minute… I’m a lifelong, shameful procrastinator.

What's the best gift you've ever given (or received)?
My grandma, who I was very close to, came to New York for Christmas the first year my husband and I were dating. He took us to a few nice dinners, to Bemelmans— which is still my favorite uptown bar— and made it possible for her to stay at the Carlyle. It was one of my favorite memories with her. She was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer a few weeks later so it ended up being our last time together while she was ‘well.’ His generous and welcoming spirit was a wonderful gift to both of us and I still tear up when I think about those memories. 

What's your go-to hostess gift?
Nice breakfast pastries or bread and jam so the hostess has breakfast for the next morning.

Favorite spots to shop?
Bergdorf Goodman, Net-a-Porter and Moda Operandi, along with small shops.

What's on your list to get?
Home décor and spa treatments

What's on your list to give?
I love to give people things I don’t think they will buy themselves. Nice pajamas, experiences, over-the-top fancy versions of every day objects, nice liquor or wine.
