You'll be hard pressed to find anyone more festive in spirit (or style!) than Stephanie Nass.
When she's not setting dreamy tables or entertaining her nearest and dearest, the chef/caterer/culinary influencer is busy designing chic tableware essentials, playful accessories, and cheeky frocks and fashions for her cult favorite brand Chefanie.
Let's just say she does it all, and then some, with a cherry on top.
Curious what's on the hostess extraordinaire's holiday wish list this year?
How do you celebrate the holidays?
I celebrate the holidays by gathering with friends and family for special meals and gift exchanges.
Where will you be this season?
In the Dominican Republic with my family.
Are you a last-minute or way-in-advance shopper?
Both! I buy many things as I see them way before the holiday, save some items for Cyber Weekend, and occasionally dart out to purchase last minute gifts.
What's your go-to hostess gift?
Our candles always make people happy!
Favorite spots around town to pick up something in person?
I just discovered The Meadow on Mulberry Street!! They have dozens of different kinds of artisanal chocolates, salts, bitters, and more specialty items. Such a cute only-in-NYC place.
Otherwise, The Grey Pearl on University Street or Feste on Crosby Street.
Any particularly festive plans or traditions you're most looking forward to this year?
My mom fills her piping hot donuts with jelly and nutella ... they're unbelievably delicious. I'm excited to giddily enjoy them with my family.
What's on your list to get? Mostly praying for peace in the Middle East and on college campuses, but second to that: chunky gold charms (vintage or Jillian Aldrich's keyhole picture charms).
What's on your list to give?
Manitobah slippers, chocolate covered pecans, clever cocktail napkins, books, and a_db socks.
