Part of the reason why Shadowboxing has gained so much momentum is due to models like Gisele Bündchen and Adriana Lima, who swear by boxing to lose extra baby weight and to get toned for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show without using a machine. Gigi Hadid claims boxing is to thank for her fabulously toned arms. Even Jake Gyllenhaal takes Shadowboxing classes!
Designers are also getting in on the trend. In the fall, Alexander Wang
released boxing gloves for his H&M collaboration, and Karl Lagerfeld did the same for Chanel. Lagerfeld also designed a
set of boxing accessories worth $175,000 for Louis Vuitton’s
Celebrating Monogram project.
Cara Delevigne and Binx Walton also
modeled lace-up boots and quilted bags in their ad campaign.
